While most of the card was good, the finale of the 2017 edition of Survivor Series reverted back to some questionable storyline choices.
On a card featuring an excellent six man tag match between The Shield and The New Day, The Bar vs. The Usos, and a rather strong middle card, it looked like Survivor Series was going to be a hit.
Then, the two main events came.
While AJ Styles vs. Brock Lesnar was not a bad match, it was hardly the best effort by the Universal Champion. The five man traditional Survivor Series match started out promising but we soon found ourselves back in McMahon corporate storyline territory which no one, including Braun Strowman, seemed to be too happy about.
