WWE TLC 2017 Shakeup: Wyatt, Dallas & Reigns OUT, Styles & Angle IN

Due to a viral meningitis outbreak involving Bo Dallas, Bray Wyatt, and Roman Reigns, WWE has drastically changed plans for this Sunday’s TLC RAW exclusive pay per view on the WWE Network.

Instead, Kurt Angle makes his long awaited return to the ring in place of Reigns while the Bullet Club leader match that hardcore fans have been waiting for in WWE for over a year will now happen (with no build) between original leader Finn Balor (aka Prince Devitt) and the 2nd unofficial leader “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles.

We examine these changes, what it means for the card, and the good and bad of giving away two highly anticipated in-ring performances with no build whatsoever.

WWE No Mercy 2017 Review (Spamming Finishers 101)

Two of the biggest hyped matches of the year ended in somewhat of a disappointing fashion for some fans at WWE No Mercy 2017.

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns at No Mercy 2017John Cena and Roman Reigns battled in a match of two of the most disliked wrestlers in modern history. In addition, Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship left a lot to be desired as well.

The women’s title match featuring Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Emma, and Nia Jax proved to be pretty good and Cesaro lost his front teeth during the tag team championship match.

We also discuss spamming finishers and why it’s a cheap way to have a “good” match.

This is our review and reaction to WWE No Mercy.

WWE Summer Slam 2017 Review

The last few years of Summer Slam haven’t been all that great but 2017 proved to be a step up from the prior year.

With Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, and Samoa Joe headlining with a crazy Fatal 4Way match, Shinsuke Nakamura challenging Jinder Mahal for the WWE World Championship, and an undercard that had some decent matches and some really terrible ones, this year’s edition was a mixed bag.

This is our review of WWE Summer Slam 2017.

Rassslin Review 7/11/17: Reigns Promo, Omega’s Contract, JR’s Apology and More

In this edition of Rassslin Review, we look at how Roman Reigns came across in his promo spot with Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe, the differences, and why it matters to the continuing problem with his character.

We also discuss Kenny Omega‘s contracts situation, give our Top 10 list for this week in Rassslin Rankings, review some odd tweets between The Miz and Tye Dillinger, review Jim Ross‘ response to last week’s criticism of his G1 Special USA commentary, and much more.

WWE Extreme Rules 2017 Live Experience And Review

This is my review of the June WWE RAW pay per view event “Extreme Rules” from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.

Not only is this a review of the event, but a review of attending a WWE pay per view live and how different it is now than in years past. The good, the bad, and the ugly as I try to find fans of Roman Reigns, ask a cheeky question of a WWE merchandise salesman, and some of the less-than-organic ways in which WWE prepares its audience.

Of note, I’ve since watched some of the playback on the WWE Network and the “delete” chants and boos for Bayley seem to be not as loud on TV as it was in the arena

WWE House Show Madness: Nakamura, Itami, Reigns

This past week has seen some interesting developments at WWE Live Events / House Shows.

House ShowsFrom the long dreamed team up of Hideo Itami and Shinsuke Nakamura at an NXT show where they faced off against The Revival, to Roman Reigns no-selling his huge injury spot on Monday Night RAW to put Braun Strowman through a table, it’s been a bright weekend for house shows.

Kurt Angle Critiques Roman Reigns’ Push

In a recent interview with Washington Top News, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle gave his critiques on the Roman Reigns push.

Angle himself was hot-shotted to the top of the WWF back in his first year with the company as a heel. He has some insights and thoughts as to why the fans boo him and what should be done with the character.

JBL gets hot about “cry baby” internet fans’ opinions of Roman Reigns REACTION

Recently on the WWE Network, JBL had some stern words for the “internet fans” (they’re fans of the internet?) who are critical or even downright hateful towards the character of Roman Reigns in WWE.

Roman ReignsThis was aired on site from the Orlando Citrus Bowl, home of WrestleMania 33 on the WWE Network.

As a fan of WWE, pro wrestling, sports entertainment etc. who discusses wrestling news on the internet, I felt it only appropriate to respond and react to the commentary with my own.

In the words of a famous brotha “Well, allow me to retort!”.

WWE WrestleMania XXXIII Reaction

This is a quick (or it was supposed to be quick) reaction video to the aftermath of WrestleMania XXXIII.

The Undertaker retires, and Roman Reigns is the one that does it … dear lord. John Cena proposed to Nikki Bella and confirms everything The Miz said about them. AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon and Triple H vs. Seth Rollins are fantastic highlights. The Hardy Boyz return to the WWE and much more.

We also discuss WWE fandom, booking, pacing of wrestling shows, and compare the main events of the two biggest shows of the year (there really is no comparison but we’ll try).
